Would you like to start keeping ducks ? To start you best buy a cheap pair of ducks like mandarijn, carolina, roodschoudertaling,... Only later you can buy some expensiver ducks, wich does not mean that cheaper ducks are less beautifull. This is a hobby you have to build up step by step, like most are |

What do you need ? To start you need a small [ lake, pool ] about two m² for a pair or two. Remember if you're planning to make a big pool consider making an [overflow].

Wich breeding [cave] do you need ? Wooden, concrete doesn't matter only consider that not all of the ducks like to breed on high places, or on the other hand low places. |

My ducks have legged eggs, now what ? Each [personne, breeder] uses his own method Personally I leave the ducks breeding until the 3 day before the little ducks come out. Then I lay the eggs in the breedingmachine with a temperature of 37,5°C (99,5°F) See here the breeding time per [species] tabel under construction |

Note: If you want breeding results you should remember that a place for ducks is not a place like you backgarden, You can keep it clean but not to clean, give the ducks some pure nature and certainly some rest in the breeding[seizon.] |

How do i raise my [young ducks] ? After coming out of the eggs you place the little ducks under a special lightbulb. It's best to keep the young ducks on a towl (a kitchentowl is perfect for this). Place a small [drinking can] (about 2cm height) where you put in little [rocks] with other words make sure that the little ducks are only able to drink About the food you have to use special food (contact your dealer or a friend of your's) Now and then you could [sprankle] some food on one off the little ducks, the other ducks will see this and will start eating. Also for some [species] you can use [worms u somethimes use for fishing on trout] But remember don't give them to much of this or they will only eat this anymore and not the food the suppose to eat in general these[worm] are only used to get them eating. |

Can I place all species together ? No you can't , ask your dealer or send me a mail It's certainly not fun to see those ducks or goose fighting, so remember. |

Wich food ? Where ? Personally I use Teurlings, if you live in Belgium, you can get this at Neerhof in Eksaarde and more btw. |
